This volunteering mission is divided into two programs (which can be combined) aimed at conducting research for marine conservation in South Africa:Mission for the protection of penguins and seabirds in South Africa.Mission with biologists and researchers for the protection of great white sharks and whales.

Löwen, Elefanten, Leoparden, Büffel, Nashornvögel, Nashörner, Wildhunde und Hyänen - so vielfältig sind die Tierarten im Fokus unseres Artenschutzprojektes in einem 25.000 ha großen Naturschutzgebietes! Werde Teil des Forschungs- und Monitoring-Teams und unterstütze die Datenerhebung für wissenschaftliche Langzeitstudien über Afrikas ikonische Wildtierarten auf Wanderungen und Pirschfahrten.

Work with nature’s gentle giants on this inspiring conservation and research project. Working closely with the abused and displaced elephants, you gain a rich insight into one of the world’s most intelligent creatures. As a volunteer you get to know the elephants intimately whilst caring for them, feeding them and contributing to advancing research.

Join us in making a difference at one of South Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuaries for orphaned and injured wildlife. Guided by an experienced team, you’ll provide essential daily care to ensure that the physical and mental needs of the centre’s wildlife are met. Your help supports a genuine need for animal rehabilitation and sanctuary in the Greater Kruger National Park region.

Join a mobile medical unit travelling around game reserves, farmsteads and veterinary clinics on this exciting veterinary internship. Work closely with the vet to help both wild and domestic animals in beautiful areas of South Africa.
