Participating in the marine conservation project in Split means committing to cleaning the seabed and fighting pollution to protect marine species through ecotourism in Europe.
The program is open to beginners with no diving experience; a diving course is included before engaging in marine conservation activities.
The program fees cover:
the cost of training
complete diving equipment
supervision by an experienced diving instructor. All participants receive an internationally recognized SSI (Scuba Schools International) diving certification.
The level of diving certification included will depend on your diving experience at the beginning of the project and the duration of your stay.
Volunteer missions during their ecotourism in Europe:
Waste collection,
Collection and analysis of seabed data,
Learning about the marine ecosystem and techniques for observing and identifying fish.
The courses offered during this ecotourism in Europe range from Scuba Diver to Open Water Diver, as well as specialties such as marine ecology and fish identification. The project collaborates with a local diving school, and all activities are supervised by an experienced diving instructor.
The aim of this project is the protection of the seabed, the development of thriving ecosystems, and a clean coastline—all in collaboration with aware and inspired local communities.
